Reinvention isn’t always (or even most of the time) about a couple splitting up. But it never just happens to the person doing the reinventing. I’m going to start looking at the many Reinvention stories I’m reading to see whose face may have been too close to the swinging of the punch.

Jane, I applaud you on your strength and confidence to reinvent and grow when life throws you a curveball. It's a shame Jon Goesslin doesn't have the maturity, and dare I say brains, to keep his priorities straight and his pants zipped for the sake of his children. My heart breaks for those kids. I was not a follower of Jon and Kate but know all about them since the affair. This post was terrific at bringing it full circle to us mid-lifers without kids. Thanks.
