As co-founder of mothers2mothers, an international grassroots program dedicated to preventing mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV/AIDS, I am inspired each day by women such as Nozi. A site coordinator at one of our busiest clinics in Cape Town and a role model to thousands of HIV-positive mothers, Nozi Samela is a true heroine in every sense. To read her story, go to The Face of Courage

Nozi came to mothers2mothers for support when she was pregnant and learned her HIV status. Her son, Konye, was born HIV-negative.
