Think Burning Man festival on a very small scale of about 400 people. Think permanently installed vintage trailers, yurts with upscale beds and lamps, a hammock grove, solar powered stage and hot water heaters for shower taking, and art installations. Crazy, fun, and COLD at night. Nothing like listening to good music from the likes of Patti Griffin, Tift Merritt, and the Heartless Bastards under a Milky Way flowing brightly across the dark
And, I had a wonderful time with my Sis. She’s 9 years younger than me and we rarely get the chance to travel together by ourselves. We sat outside our tent, sipping tequila, and talked and talked. She’s a pretty hip chick and she filled me in on the latest cool music, trends and the secret to cooking on a propane camping stove.
Now, that was a scene I could get in to, aged or not.
