40 Dancers Over 40

Think you're too old to dance professionally? Meet the members of Boulder, CO-based dance company 40 Women Over 40.  Founded in 2003 by Nancy Cranbourne--choreographer, teacher, actor and performer--to celebrate the the beauty of older women, the company will present its new show, Feels Like Falling, at the Dairy Center for the Arts, November 6-15, 2009.  The dances, some of them accompanied by funny monologues, explore the journey from loss to joy. The dancers range in age from 40 to 75 and many of them have other lives, as teachers, for example, or soccer moms.  Here's a video preview of their concert.
