Ladies! There are many ways to have beautiful cloths that fit your budget. Remember that magazines survive on advertising revenues so they must market those cloths. Second hand shops in high end neighborhoods have great bargains as do some of the no-frills clothing stores (not to mention any names). You have to take some time to look through the racks but it is TOTALLY worth it. You can use the magazine pictures as a guide and put similar outfits together. Be gorgeous!

This was so so badly done. Most of the suggestions are just plain duh or silly. And the models -- what is this? I thought More was for women 40+ and yet most of the models seem to be in their 20s and the usual stick thin. And the prices - although not completely outrageous -- are really out of reach for a whole lot of women -- especially now.

They need to find clothes for less than my house payment. I am a single woman who makes less than $25,000 a year working full time. I have a house payment and car payment, how in the world would I be able to afford ear rings for over $300.00 or a $700.00 blouse. I think not. And the models, not one of them was 40+. There are a lot of us normal women that are over 40 that look great.(I am 53 but am told that I look mid to late thirties) I think you should show 40+ people in the clothes that you say are for 40+ women, not some too skinny teenager that hasn't even grown into her body.

Whomever is responsible for choosing these fashions, should possibly look to More readers for ideas because I personally believe they are clueless on fashion for women 40 plus. I am 47 years young, not trendy but fashionably classy. I am frugal but shop for quality. I am a fashionista without the priceness. If I was the person responsible for displaying the fashions for "How Not To Dress Old," which translates into clothes that do not age you, the fashions would be fashionably classy, fashionbly hot and classy but definitely affordable.

I absolutely love the clothes that is being displayed on the articles, "How Not To Dress Old", however I do agree with some of the "girls". Some of these clothes are a bit too expensive for many women. I am "51", (so hard to say that), but I look in my late thirties....so I am told. Luckily, I love to mix and match and I have always just done "my own thing" with clothes. My daughters are both petitle like myself and we share our clothes, accessories and jewelry. There is so much you can do with accessories to make an outfil look really fancy. There are stores out there that do carry very nice pieces.....Target.....and the little boutiques at the malls also carry cute things which can be mixed and matched.
