In 2000, everyone’s favorite American style icon got a lady-like makeover. Ralph Lauren’s polo pony turned pink, becoming the symbol for the Pink Pony Fund of the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation. The fund began with an emphasis on breast cancer but has since expanded funding to programs for cancer screening, research and patient navigation (personal, mentor-like guidance). With 10% of sales benefiting the fund, it’s one pretty little pony we’ll gladly get behind.
