Beauty Products: Does NEW Always Equal IMPROVED?

  • In a department store, ask to speak with the Cosmetics Department Manager, and get her opinion on a new product.  She sees a lot of brands (and returns!), so she's better informed and more objective than the counter person.  It’s also likely that she has worked in the store for a longer period of time, and has had better training.
  • Before you buy a product, ask the retailer or website what their return policy is. And, most importantly, find out if they offer a satisfaction guarantee. Without it, you have to wonder why they aren't standing behind their claims. I say, let that be a warning to you.

I really enjoy MORE. And want to pay on-line. I have tried for over 30 minutes, always being asked to login, by either account number, which I have 9 digits. It asks for 10, It requested zip. I am in Canada. I ended up calling a long distance number in Ohio at my expense, only to be given a 1800 number for Canadian residents. I thought this MAG, was from Ontario? Well even if I am wrong, The part where you just clic'tk on subscriber services, doesn't exisit... And why do we have to log in more than once? I am already logged in, and it requests me to login again?????
