Editors' Picks: Fab Fall Beauty Buys
Kiehl's Imperial Body Balm
A little goes a long way with this ultra-rich body balm packed with honey, cocoa butter and sea buckthorn berry oil. I count on the jar lasting until February.

DuWop Private Red Lipstick
A modern update of the mood lipsticks of the 70’s, this version takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect red lip color.

Van Cleef & Arpels Collection Extraordinaire Iris Wood Fragrance
I don’t have any rare Van Cleef & Arpels jewels on my shopping list this year. But I will be spritzing on their new Iris fragrance in the Collection Extraordinaire collection which is just as precious.
Iris flowers actually have no scent- their fragrance is derived from the root of the plant. Harvesting the root takes roughly six years making it the most expensive ingredient in the perfume world. But besides all that, it smells really good.

Blow Weather Girl Climate Neutralizing Complex
A must-have secret weapon for weather-induced bad hair days.
This frizz-fighting serum eliminates flyaways rain or shine.

Boots Original Beauty Rose & Lavender Bath Oil
I try not to be a sucker for packaging but I absolutely adore the vintage, apothecary-style bottles in the Boots Original Beauty line for Target. Since they came onto the scene in 1849, Boots has been one of the most trusted beauty companies in London. To celebrate their 160th anniversary they’ve brought back some of their classic formulas in their original packaging. The best part? The most expensive product in the line is $13.

Sula Paint & Peel Polish in Moss
Confession: I love testing color-of-the-moment polishes but generally can’t stand to wear them for more than a moment.
Luckily, this fall I will step away from the bottle of acetone and pick up Sula Beauty’s new Paint & Peel Trend Collection. These lacquers can be pulled off in a cinch thanks to a water-based and toluene- formaldehyde-phalate formula (which separates them from the chemical-heavy peel-y polishes of the past.)

Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shine Mist
Infused with pure olive oil, this lightweight glossing mist adds shine without looking or feeling greasy.

Jemma Kidd Lasting Tint Semi-Permanent Lash Color
Sick of showgirl lashes, I like this waterproof lash tint which gives just the right amount of natural color and doesn’t budge for 24 hours. Great for during the work week or whenever you want to keep it simple.

Leonor Greyl Huile de Palme
I find leaving deep conditioner on wet hair unbearably chilly in the fall months. This nourishing treatment is applied to dry hair pre-shampoo to soften and moisturize. No freezing necessary.

Guerlain Ombre Eclat Eyeshadow Quad in 407
The only eyeshadow I plan on buying this season is a quad of wearable, pretty shades: irridecent ivory, pale pink, grey-ish taupe and metallic brown

Murad Perfecting Serum
I plan on stocking up on this super silky gel serum which locks in moisture and primes for makeup application without feeling tacky.

Darphin Cleansing Balm with Rosewood
This alternative to traditional cleansers is definitely an acquired taste. You have to warm up a tiny amount in your hands before adding water and smoothing all over for a milky lather. But it relieves tight, dry skin like no other simple cleanser can.
