I understand this contest about What Do You Love About Your Looks? has ended, however I would like to share what I love about my looks. When I was younger I always hated the fact that I was so much shorter than all the rest of my frends at school. It wasn't until I was older that I finally realized how wonderful it actually was to be "petite". I also have always loved my lips; other women kill to get full lips and I was blessed with them. I have grown to love my height because after all there are so many beautiful heels to wear and my lips well, I have also learned to use all kinds of colors to bring out the best in them. I think that every woman has something about them that they should love.
I started really taking care of my skin from age 15. Washing morning and night and moisturizing like crazy. In those days (we're talking 25 years ago, Olay was still Oil of Olay, and it was perceived as "your mothers cream". I never cared about that because I figured if it was good for aging skin, it will be damn good for young skin. I took some ribbing about it from my teen friends, but hey, it paid off. I think I look damn good. I've grown up with Olay products. It was my mother's cream, it's my cream and I bet it will be my daughter's cream!

The fact that I am 47, and still have people shocked when I say this is a highlight for me. I then indulge them with the fact that I am the grandmother of three, as my son is 29. There is no secret. Some say the Irish genes, though my maternal grandma was of German ancestry and she had good skin. I do use skin care, and never go to bed with make-up on. I have experimented at one time, but did not indulge in drugs or even alcohol. I don't smoke either. All these things will ruin your complexion and add lines in a heart beat. It is your lifestyle that makes you healthy and look good, not products. I have also done yoga and cycling most of my life, and just started working out at a gym.

I'm turning 59 in about two weeks and people still tell me I have the skin of someone much younger. I've been blessed by good skin and to help keep it that way I only wash my face with Olay's bar soap for sensitive skin...actually it's the only soap I use in the shower too.

I moisture my skin regularly with Estee Lauder products and use a good eye cream daily.
So for 56, I am happy with the way my skin looks.

My skin is still in relatively good shape. I have wrinkles but not too terribly deep for being in my early fifties. It still feels soft and I don't have a lot of age spots.

The overall glow and youthfulness my skin has achieved since using Lancome's Genifique youth activating serum!!!! I kid you not! I am not a spokesperson or sales rep for Lancome, but I'd gotten a sample of this product at some point and what I initially loved most about it was how quickly my skin absorbed it with zero greasy residue, allowing my foundation to go on very easily. Since I have been using this product (heads up; it's very pricey) I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten about how great I look "lately". I can even see a huge difference when I look at my naked face in the mirror. The lines around my eyes are significantly reduced, skin appears firmer and less sagging at the jaw line and my neck. Please go get a sample for yourself or you can even find sample bottles on ebay. I am so excited about this product!

Post cancer! At 51, I like the person I have become. My hair resembles the tip of a Q-tip, I have an extra 15 pounds from the steroids, but I am gradually working my way back into my life. I I know what it means to appreciate every day! I like me.
