One tinted moisturizer that may be more work than it’s worth
Soap & Glory Touch & Glow Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion ($13; target.com)This product promised to make my complexion look subtly sun-kissed, thanks to tiny beads of bronzing gel in the lotion that “burst” as I massaged in the moisturizer. Easier said than done. I kept finding rogue brown beads on my face and neck throughout the day—not the look I was after. Perhaps the trick is to burst the beads by blending the lotion in your hands first. . .then apply it to your face. Even so, it seems like a lot of work for an effect more easily achieved with a three-second, quick sweep of bronzing powder.
