Turn Your Home Office into Job Hunt Central

You need to keep organized—which Kajino qualifies as “being able to find something in five minutes or less."  The system she advises her clients to use has an “action folder” for documents that require a response, reading, etc. and a “tickler file” for date-sensitive documents. Her version of a tickler file is separated into months, with a folder for each day of the month. For example, for an interview on July 14, you would put directions and copies of your resume in the July 14 folder.

Even after you snag the job, keep your home office in shape. Who knows when you'll need it next.
