In the July/August 2009 issue of MORE magazine, writer/director Nora Ephron admits she does have one presidential regret:
“I don’t regret ‘lurking’ as a White House intern in 1961. They didn’t even have a desk for me, so I could only lurk. But Jack Kennedy was one of the handsomest men I have ever laid eyes on. No picture does him justice. I totally regret not having had an affair with him. Who wouldn’t? It wasn’t up to me, of course.”
