Don't Say I Didn't Warn You by Anita Renfroe

A hilarious new memoir from one of YouTube’s most famous moms.

When comedian Anita Renfroe filmed the YouTube video for “Mom Song,” her rant about the universal phrases of motherhood—the clip went viral. Singing the words, "don’t make me come down there… clean your room… make your bed…” Renfroe eventually caught the attention of Diane Sawyer and ended up on Good Morning America.

In Don't Say I Didn't Warn You, a hilarious collection of essays about everything from pregnancy to the art of re-gifting, Renfroe writes about her life as a wife and mother of three children. In “Brother, can you spare an epidural?” she reminds us that “babies don’t really look like those Gerber ads for the first couple of days.” For more mommy humor, watch the clip above, in which Renfroe sings lyrics that everyone will recognize—whether they’ve uttered them or not.
