Pictures From "My Sister's Keeper"

Cameron Diaz plays Sara, mom to Anna (Abigail Breslin, shown), a child who was genetically “engineered” to be a bone marrow donor for her older sister, Kate, who has leukemia. Eventually, Anna sues her parents for medical emancipation.

Diaz takes on a tear-jerker with this role. Here, she’s shown with onscreen daughter Kate (played by Sofia Vassilieva).

Alec Baldwin plays Anna’s lawyer, Campbell Alexander.

Jason Patric plays husband/father Brian, who copes with his daughter Anna’s decision differently than his wife.
