Here I am at the Smoke Out in North Carolina. I’m happiest on a motorcycle! Why? Because this is what it means to experience beautiful freedom. Just BE who you are in the wind.

My motorcycle road trips take me to still places in my heart and soul where my busy mind won’t let me go. The road teaches me to let go and easy ride. The road is a place for high octane fun, let your worries blow away in the wind. Live in the moment.

Betsy Huelskamp and I are best windsisters. Here we are in South Dakota together during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Betsy and I are kindred souls. We are like Thelma and Louise out there on the open road.

This hot and handsome bass player in Nashville arrived at my recording session on a Harley. Now what chrome cowgirl could resist such a vision?! We went out for a casual coffee one night and never parted.

Here’s Betty Robinson Fauls alongside her mother’s famous pink motorcycle. Her mother is the late Dot Robinson, who was a motorcycle racer and co-founder of the world’s oldest female motorcycle club, the Motor Maids. The history of women and motorcycles is rich and diverse.

Here I am at the Harley-Davidson women and motorcycles parade at Daytona Bike Week. It was a rush to see all these amazing female riders saddle up and rock the throttle. We are one big sisterhood.

Gevin Fax is a well known female motorcycle rider, as is my friend Betsy. Us girls have certainly carved a curvaceous path in the world of motorcycling. Hey guys, can u handle the curves??? We windsisters are inseparable. Gevin, Betsy and I make the perfect riding trio. We love the adventure and the unpredictable episodes that you may find yourself engaged in when you embark upon a motorcycle trip.

My second book…just released Chrome Cowgirl’s Guide to the Motorcycle Life! Published by Motorbooks International. I wrote this book from an autobiographical perspective, and I include some how-to information which addresses the bike, the body, the mind and the soul. All in good fun, good spirit, good times. This book is an example of how to grab life by the handlebars and chase your wide open life.
