The first step in starting a new business.
There’s an argument that women make better entrepreneurs than men. While I’m not sure if this is true, I do know that women are the fastest growing demographic of small to mid-sized business owners. It’s about time!
One of the biggest questions I get is, “Where do I start?”
I always advise to start with what you know. Your skills and talents are your strongest assets when it comes to making money. First, list all of your daily tasks, chores, duties, hobbies, skills and talents. Then do some research and find out how others are using those same skills to make money. Believe me there’s someone already making money at it! You should be too.
Keep things simple, especially at first. If you have the capital to go big, that’s great! For those of you who need to start on a shoestring budget remember it CAN be done! I see it everyday. Even small ideas can turn into monster success. How bad do you want it? Are you willing to make it happen?
Making the decision to start a business is a big one. Trust your instincts.
