Animals

"I have two Labrador Retrievers, Elvis and Django—both named for famous musicians. I love and have cared for all kinds of animals: dogs, cats, birds—a pig. If I could have a zoo in my house, I would. But I think my husband would divorce me!"

Work

"I love what I do—and have been at it for 39 years. I like to make people happy and my goal is to give them the best hair removal result. To make sure that happens, I research the equipment myself and only use the best and the latest laser and eletrolysis technology. I take great pride in owning my own business."

My Birthday

"My birthday is in August, and I celebrate it all month long!"

Music

"I like all kinds of music and I love to dance. I also play a bit of guitar—but just for pure pleasure."

Punctuality

"I run my business on a tight schedule and I do not want to make my clients wait. I honor their appointments and I expect them to consider my time too."

Smiles

"I smile all the time. I believe it helps to heal. You feel better—as do the people who receive your smile. I even have a poem tacked up in all the salon bathrooms, entitled 'A Smile.' [see version below]. So many clients ask for a copy."

A SMILE
It cost nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody until it is given away!
If someone is to tired to give you a smile, leave one of yours.
For, nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none to give.
