What about your new show, Undone with @AmandadeCadenet, excites you most? The late-night space as we know it is very male dominated, so the goal of this show is to offer an alternative perspective and speak to that smart, engaged female audience. A lot of media that's made for women underestimates our intelligence. I don't want to be a part of that.
Why include your Twitter handle in the title? Social media is a huge part of the show. I want to have a space where everyone's voice can be included. If you have a question for a guest, you can tweet it to me or let me know about a topic you're interested in.
You did an interview series for Lifetime in 2012 called The Conversation, in which friend Demi Moore was your executive producer and pals like Gwyneth Paltrow and Lady Gaga were your guests. Will your famous BFFs come on this show, too? It's natural to make friends in your community and collaborate with them. I'm lucky to be part of a supportive group of women, and we jump at the opportunity to work together, so yes, I'm sure there'll be friends of mine who come on the show.
Any worries about doing live TV? My first television job was in the U.K. when I was 15 or 16, and it was live. Even though it’s been a while, I’m hoping it’s like riding a bicycle.
Undone with @AmandadeCadenet premieres this Thursday at 10:30 EST/PST on Lifetime. Follow along on Twitter by tweeting Amanda @AmandadeCadenet.
