AY: It was an offer I couldn’t refuse. I got an opportunity to star in a comedy about carpool moms and the friends that you make through your kids. What is so weird is this is my real life—art is imitating my life in this particular situation. It also helped that one of my best friends directed it.

More: You look great—what’s your beauty secret for looking so young?
AY: I use Purpose Pump soap and Neutrogena. I confess, I buy them both at the drugstore. (laughs)
