I don't mind seeing celebs
I don't mind seeing celebs once in awhile or reading about something great that they're doing to help the world (sarcasm intended). But I DO wish you'd showcase more haircuts that are doable, wearable, practical for us 40+ somethings. Every single one of those celebs has a team to get her ready...and takes hours to do so! I don't have that kind of time, or money. Nor desire, now that I think about it. So, how about a few more "REAL" women; I'm sure that you had lots of entries in your modeling contest, don't some of them have great cuts for all of us (and please, not all of us have long hair!).
Best hairstyles for 2012? So
Best hairstyles for 2012? So because a celebrity has hair on her head makes it into the "best hair style" category. Why are you so obsessed with everything celebrity? The importance of these people is sooo blown out of proportion. I was hoping More magazine was "more" than the Instlye and all the other magazines out there who idolize celebrities. Why don't you actually show great, current hair styles for the various types of face shapes and ages on non-celebrity models instead of going through an archive to find celebrity heads? I guess that would mean effort.
I cancelled my subscription earlier because I felt your magazine was too obsessed with celebrities. I enjoy reading the comments of your editor who sounds very grounded, intelligent, and normal. And many of your articles follow suit, but then the rest of the magazine focus' on the celebrities. You can't find unknown models for your cover pages? Well, I renewed my subscription in the hopes that there had possibly been some changes, but unfortunately I find that only celebrities rate as important.
