Corset Braids Will Tie...

Corset Braids Will Tie Together Your Look In The Coolest Way

Braided hairstyles are always a good go-to look when you're tired of the same old hairdo, and these corset braids will bring your look to the next level.

Needing a new way to up your braid game? The beauty world has dug deep and brought us corset hair braids, and you'll never look back. (Except to examine the uber cool look in a mirror, of course.)

A corset hair braid can be made sweet and delicate by using a wide satin ribbon, or give off some extra edge by using a thin thread. Either way, the choice is yours, and the technique is the same.

Check out the different ways some of these Instagrammers have rocked the look for inspiration!

Braided partings make me wannaaa 🙆 Create a corset braid by simply criss-crossing any string in between 2 corn rows as if tying a shoe lace. If the string is thick, you can easily weave it through the corn rows. For finer strings, tie each end to a bobby pin and use the pin to push the string through the braid! I've done this in the past with wider triangle cornrows into a topknot using gold string... if you scroll down you can 👀! . @salontocci Makeup- @jasminelakhesar Inspired by @esthersbraids . ♥Lashes: @hudabeauty @shophudabeauty Lashes in "Jade" ♥Eyes: #hudabeautyrosegoldpalette in "Bae and Suede" + #urbandecay the Nskef Palette 2 ♥Blush: @morphebrushes 9N Blush Palette ♥Highlight and inner corner of the eyes: @anastasiabeverlyhills #Glowkit ♥Lips: @thekatvond in "Witches" ♥Foundation: #Toofaced "Born this Way" liquid foundation in "Golden" ♥Eyeliner: @inglot_cosmetics in 77 ♥Brows: @benefitcosmetics #kabrow in number 4 ♥Contour: @lagirlcosmetics in "Ivory +Creamy beige + Beautiful bronze + @nyxcosmetics Contour Palette . This look is totally worthy enough to be your go-to festival style for the season, because not only does it look incredibly cool, it's so insanely simple. Follow along with this YouTube tutorial from Braidsandstyles12 to learn the basics.

Step 1: Braid your hair into two Dutch braids. (Dutch-braiding is similar to French-braiding, you just bring the hair underneath while weaving instead to create the 3D look!). Fasten them both with elastics.

Step 2: Where you want your ribbon to start is totally up to you. Pull it all the way through your braid at the desired starting point and center it on your head.

Step 3: Pull one side of the ribbon over to the other side (bringing it over top of the braid) and weave it through. Do the same thing using the opposite side of the ribbon, bringing it to the other braid. Repeat this step on each side until you get to the end of the braids and fasten with an elastic.

Pro tip: If you're using a smaller thread, weave it through your braid using a bobby pin to help. If using a wide ribbon, you can just use your fingers!

Check out Braidsandstyles12's entire tutorial below.

Once you've mastered these simple basics of the corset braid, you'll be able to venture out and create some serious hair inspo of your own! Happy braiding!
