How to Create a Hair Headband

Give your hair a pick-me-up or add some flair with this braided hair headband. It's a chic way to deal with long bangs or layers that you're trying to grow out and a clever way to hide roots in need of color. Here's how to do it:

How to Create a Hair Headband Steps 1-2

1. Part your hair on the side. Start a quick moving French braid—it doesn't have to be perfect. Finish the braid and secure with an elastic.

2. Next, pin the end of the braid underneath the back of your hair, near the nape of your neck.

How to Create a Hair Headband Steps 3-4

3. Fatten the braid by pulling at its sides, making your hair appear fuller and more textured.

4. Repeat on the other side. Secure with a strong hair spray.

Pair your hair headband with a bold lip, and your look is chic without trying too hard. It's going to be a good hair day!
