Get Gorgeous Face-Framing Waves à la Eva Longoria

Ever covet Eva Longoria's softly curled hair? Here's a quick approach to getting her signature down-do style. These sexy waves turn heads and are super easy to do. Best of all, they allow for sexy bedhead hair the next day!

Create Eva Longoria Hair

The secret to a great head of wavy curls like the ones so many celebs sport is how you use the curling iron. These techniques will help you create sexy Eva Longoria hair.

Create Eva Longoria Hair

1. Start by spraying hair with a heat protectant spray to insulate against the heat of the curling iron. Next, use a 1 1/2-inch-barrel curling iron with a clamp to create your curls. I prefer using a Hot Tools product like this one, but a ceramic or gold-plated iron will do. Note: The iron does need to get to high heat to create these loose hair waves and curls. Angle your curling iron, and curl small sections of hair backward to create a modern-day curl that you'll convert into a wave without much effort. While curling the front section, let your hair glide out of your curling iron to create a long-lasting, fully curled piece. You're distributing heat evenly throughout section, allowing for bend to take place at the top, middle, and ends of your strands.

2. Spray hair with a holding spray while combing it out with your hands in a backwards motion. Create volume by running your hands through your hair and loosening up your face-framing waves. Set with spray, and you're done!
