2014 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Beauty Winners

The red carpet at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards was host to some of our favorite style icons. And while the event's fashion seemed to be a little lacking in creativity this year, the daring beauty looks were still in full force.

Taylor Swift
Leave it to Taylor Swift to wear a simple pony on the red carpet and have everyone ooh and ahh over it--okay, us included, The style worked, because that ponytail had major volume! Imitate Taylor's Grammy Awards red carpet beauty by spraying Sally Hershberger Major Body Volumizing Style Boost at the crown and teasing for volume. Taylor also hit high notes with her makeup, wearing an icy silver and white eye look that extended to the inner corners of her eyes.

Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves, winner of Best Country Album, kept her makeup soft and sheer with a blush-toned lip gloss, shimmery blush, and neutral eye makeup that matched her blush gown. But what really stood out amidst that soft makeup were her masterfully sculpted brows. Try using a stencil kit, such as Anastasia Brows Classic Stencils, to shape the perfect set of arches.

Katy Perry
In addition to wearing one of our favorite outfits on the red carpet (hey, the Grammys are supposed to be fun!), Katy Perry wore one of our favorite hairstyles, a regal braided chignon. To get the look start by slicking hair back into a ponytail with a bit of flexible hold gel, like L.A. Looks Flex Hold Gel. Next separate the ponytail into eight sections, hooking the strands around each other and securing with bobby pins as you go. If you don't quite have the length or volume required for the style, just fake it. A few hair extensions, or the addition of a sock bun in the middle can do wonders.

Kelly Osbourne
Kelly Osbourne has evolved into a major style icon. Her signature lavender locks were styled into an angled bob, and her bold wine lip had us instantly searching for the perfect shade of lipstick. (Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Mulberry is a near-perfect match.) On top of that, Kelly nailed the cat eye, shading in her white eyeshadow all the way to the flicked ends for yet another spin on the classic look.

Paris Hilton
We love this mussed-up, faux-hawk style on Paris. Her false lashes, gold eye makeup, and sheer lip gloss were striking, even if her dress missed the mark.

Giuliana Rancic
To master Giuliana's pulled back updo start with clean, dry hair and make a part down the center. Use a strong-hold gel, like L.A. Looks Mega Mega Gel, to smooth down the top of the hair and pull the rest to the nape of the neck. Tease the hair in the back for volume and tuck the remaining hair into a loop, securing with bobby pins. Voila! You'll look ready to host your own red carpet show.

Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen's braided undercut hairstyle was one of the freshest looks at the Grammys. Despite being a rather casual style, it added an element of fun to her otherwise sophisticated look. A golden highlighter, like Fashion Fair Beauty Highlighter in Golden Lights, can give you her luminescent glow.
