Flower Petal Lashes...

Flower Petal Lashes Are The Most Natural Look Of The Season

Reddit is notorious for bringing us some fun and unconventional ideas, and these gorgeous real life flower petal lashes are following suit.

We're all about a natural look, but this Redditor took it to an entirely new level, and it's absolutely stunning.

In an all-out springtime look titled, "Pollinated," Reddit user Green-eyedgal mimicked an IRL flower by applying real petals on her lashes and using a yellow-toned blush that truly does look like (incredibly elegant) pollen dust! For a little extra tiger lily-like touch, she added some pretty patterns of dots with a white NYX liquid liner, and we must say the results are seriously gorgeous.

Quite possibly our favorite part of this entire look is that it cost pretty much nothing to get those statement lashes—she just picked them from her own backyard!

And while it looks incredible, (and she swears she can see with them on!) we find it a little bit terrifying that according to the Reddit thread, she dipped a flower petal into lash glue before adhesing it directly onto her lashes. It sounds like two recipes for disaster to us: 1. Damage to our poor little lashes and 2. possible allergy overdrive!

TBH, this would be the perfect time of year to try the look for yourself with all of the stunning florals finally blooming in our own gardens. But considering how quickly a flower petal can wilt, it might just be something you want to attempt for the 'gram rather than a night out on the town (although how great would that be?!).

However, if your allergies tend to go crazy at the first signs of spring, we're going to go ahead and recommend that you don't put the look directly onto your face. Just a suggestion.

Springtime is officially here, and what better way to let your lashes celebrate too!
