Nicholas K.'s Reversed Cat Eye
1 / 7VIEW ALL
Avon makeup artist Lauren Andersen recreated a typical cat eye by turning the look upside down at Nicholas K. With slick, pulled back hair the reverse cat eye (created with Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner, Avon Mega Effects Liquid Eyeliner and Big & Daring Volume Mascara) was extra piercing. "The focus of this look is on the inner corner of the eye," says Andersen. "The rest of the makeup is matte and echos the Saharan themes of the collection." Ultra Color Absolute Lipstick in Caramel Comfort gave a nude lip that wouldn't pull focus. We're trying this look out immediately come girl's night out.
Trina Turk's Colorful Eyeliner
2 / 7VIEW ALL
The colorful, California-cool clothing at Trina Turk's Spring 2015 New York Fashion Week show was inspired by the iconic L.A. Flower Market, so it's only fitting the makeup be just as bright. Stila's global director of creative artistry, Sarah Lucero, chose this colorful makeup look to mirror the hue of flower petals. Models wore Stila All Day 10-in-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm SPF 30 on their faces with Stila Convertible Color Cream in Camellia for a warm flush on the cheeks. The bright pop of eyeliner is Stila All Day Waterproof Smudge Stick in Turquoise, and lips got a natural looking stain from the brand's All Day Liquid Lipstick in Carina.

Vera Wang's Smokey Purple Eyes

Clé de Peau made up models to look like "mystical wood nymphs" at Vera Wang's New York Fashion Week show, with purple eye makeup that stood out against a collection that was decidedly dark for spring. The skin was kept matte using Clé de Peau Beaute Radiant Fluid Foundation, while cheeks got a hint of sparkle with their Luminizing Face Enhancer in Delicate Pink. The purple eyes were a sneak peek into the brand's spring 2015 collection, using a yet to be launched eye color quad in Fairy Dust (for now use Shade 207). Limited Edition Extra Rich Lipstick in Just Joey gave models a creamy nude lip to complete the look.
Honor's Bold Blue Beauty

Blue eye shadow has been a recurring makeup theme at New York Fashion Weeks past, and we're happy to see the trend isn't going anywhere this upcoming season. A graphic blue cat eye matched bold 3D nails at Honor's spring/summer show. The look, created by Beauty.com makeup artist Polly Osmond, started with Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer and The Sensual Skin Fluid Foundation (a serum foundation launching later this fall). The cat eye was drawn on with Kevyn Aucoin's The Eye Pencil Primatif in Defining Navy with The Loose Shimmer Shadow in Lapis pressed gently on top. The Volume Mascara and The Essential Mascara accented lashes, and The Lip Gloss in Tulapina gave lips a soft, rosy sheen.
Yoana Baraschi's Woman Warrior

The makeup at Yoana Baraschi's New York Fashion Week runway show was "a modern take on African warrior beauty." Butter London global color ambassador Katie Jane Hughes used Butter London Eye Pencil in Alabaster Gaze for a feminine take on tribal war paint. Hughes drew the pencil along the contour of the eye, then used the Eye Pencil in All Hail The Queen (out in spring 2015) along the lower lash line. Lashes got a coat of Butter London Mascara in Union Jack Black. Those killer cheekbones are the result of a little contouring along the hollows of the cheeks and temples with Butter London's Cream Bronzer in Bit Faker. Full red lips were lined, then Butter London Moisture Matte Lipstick in Ladybird was applied to the bottom lip and Come to Bed Red was applied over the top, starting in the middle and worked out toward the sides.
Alice + Olivia's Angelic Natural Shimmer

The rosy cheeks and pale pink lips at Alice + Olivia's spring/summer show were positively angelic. Lucero, Stila global director of creative artistry, created the shimmery eyes and flushed cheeks using a mixture of Stila All Over Shimmer Powder in Kitten and Moonstone from Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Body. The just-bitten lips were created using Stila Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain. For full, Cara D-esque brows, use Stila's All Day Waterproof Brow Color to fill in and shade.
Rodarte's Luminous Look
7 / 7VIEW ALL
Okay, we'll admit it. This look is a little out there, but draw your eyes away from the (faux, glued-on) eyebrow piercings and you'll see the luminous skin we're dying to replicate at home. The hero product of this look is NARS Eyeshadow Duo in St-Paul-De-Vence (out in spring 2015), which was used on both the eyes and the cheeks. For now, apply NARS Orgasm Multiple and the shade on the right side of NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Kuala Lumpur layered with the left side of the duo in Isolde. While we (anxiously) wait for spring shades to come out, use the same shades of eye shadow on the lids. Eyes also got a taste of drama with NARS Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara and Rue Bonaparte Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner. The lipstick used was NARS new Audacious Lipstick in Barbara (Vanessa for darker skin tones).
