Halloween Makeup How...

Halloween Makeup How-To: Greenhouse Girl

Is it hot in here, or is it just you? Try this greenhouse girl makeup for your next Halloween soirée and be the flower of the party!

What I Used:

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Apply a green cream shadow from your lash line to brow bone, to inner rim, and your along bottom lash line.
  2. Apply a strip of false lashes to your top lash line to intensify your eyes.
  3. Apply a generous amount of a candy pink blush to your cheeks.
  4. Cut the petals from an artificial daisy in groups of two. Use two different colors for added interest.
  5. Apply a duo lash adhesive glue to the backs of the petals near the cut edges. Allow 30 seconds for the glue to dry and become sticky.
  6. Begin by applying the petals to the lower part of the eye, overlapping them slightly.
  7. Apply the petals directly above the crease. Do not apply in the crease or along the top lash line as they will droop.
  8. Apply a neon coral shade to your lips.
  9. Add a small green rhinestone to inner eye corner if desired.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, but it's creating works of art on faces that I love most. By day, I am a Senior Education Consultant for Sephora as well as a freelance makeup artist. The rest of the time, I'm creating content for my makeup and beauty blog, Wake Up for Makeup, reading product reviews, watching tutorial videos and reading makeup artist books. I live and breathe this stuff and if you could eat makeup, I'd probably do that too. I also love painting abstracts, running, attending music festivals and acting weird with my husband and our two awesome cats. I'm here to tell you what products are legit, how to better use the ones you have, give you ideas to shake up your routine and guide you through some fun tutorials I know you can dominate.
