Halloween Makeup How...

Halloween Makeup How-To: Living Doll Girl

If you want your Halloween look to be the perfect mix of creepy and cute, try this living doll makeup. It's fun and and a bit kooky, and will definitely have people talking!

What You Need:

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Apply a foundation one to two shades lighter than your skin and set with a matte powder to give your skin a porcelain appearance.
  2. To create the hard curved edge on the cheeks, take a business card, bend slightly, and place vertical edge under your cheekbones. Use a small stippling brush to apply bright pink cream blush along the card, blending upward.
  3. Apply a white cream shadow from your lash line to your brow bone. Line your inner rim with a white pencil as well. Extend your eye shape by drawing below your lash line.
  4. Apply a matte pink shadow from your lash line to brow. Extend the pink color  to the sides of nose.
  5. Apply black liquid liner along the top lash line and outline the white shape you created below the lower lash line.
  6. Apply exaggerated false lashes to your top lash line and below the extended eye shape on the bottom.
  7. Create an exaggerated pucker on your lips with a bright pink lip color.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, but it's creating works of art on faces that I love most. By day, I am a Senior Education Consultant for Sephora as well as a freelance makeup artist. The rest of the time, I'm creating content for my makeup and beauty blog, Wake Up for Makeup, reading product reviews, watching tutorial videos and reading makeup artist books. I live and breathe this stuff and if you could eat makeup, I'd probably do that too. I also love painting abstracts, running, attending music festivals and acting weird with my husband and our two awesome cats. I'm here to tell you what products are legit, how to better use the ones you have, give you ideas to shake up your routine and guide you through some fun tutorials I know you can dominate.
