Before you get to the concealing, let's treat that under-eye darkness! There are several eye creams that specifically address dark circle concerns.
Shiseido White Lucent: Shiseido likes to keep their ingredients under wraps, but this cream does contain multi-luminizing powder for instant brightening and ingredients to reduce darkness over time.
Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller: The stainless steel ball mechanism increases circulation while it decreases puffiness!

If your dark circles are beyond, your concealer needs a little backup. Neutralize the color of your darkness with a color corrector. For more information on color correction, this post breaks it all down for you!
For red/purple darkness
If your under-eye darkness is more purple or red, laying a yellow on top will cancel it out. Watch it in action here.
Maybelline Age Rewind in Neutralizer: Its creamy consistency helps it blend easily and highlight the under-eye area with the power of yellow.
NARS Concealer in Pear: If you have oily skin, you will like the texture of a stick concealer like this.
If your under-eye circles are more blue or brown, a peach-toned corrector will neutralize the darkness like magic.
Benefit Erase Paste: Due to its salmon tone, Erase Paste neutralizes the blueness of dark circles. Just a tiny dab goes a long way, so apply sparingly.

The true disappearing act occurs with concealer. Concealer is more intensely pigmented than foundation or powder and can virtually erase dark circles. Cream concealers work best in the under-eye area.
Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer: This is one of my very favorite, heavy-duty, full-coverage concealers that never, ever creases. Thanks, Kat!
Smashbox High Definition Concealer: This is an excellent, medium-coverage concealer with a light, blendable consistency.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer: A drugstore product, this illuminating concealer is one of my all-time faves. It brightens under-eye circles without tons of coverage, and the click-pen is fast and efficient to use. Total gem.

You'll want to set your concealer with powder to prevent creasing and ensure that it sticks around all day. Translucent works best.
Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder: This silica powder diffuses light and can be used all over the face as well.
e.l.f. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder: This light, translucent powder has vitamins C & K and will lock your concealer down for 3 bucks!

- Try mixing a few drops of a liquid or cream luminizer with your concealer to create your own brightening concealer. This will reflect light and make you look much more awake.
- Instead of applying concealer in a half moon shape, apply it in a fan shape, down the side of the nose and diagonally along the cheekbone. This will brighten the entire area in a highlighting fashion.
- Start with less concealer and build. Excess concealer causes creasing.
- Look for an under-eye concealer one to two shades lighter than your foundation.
