Stamping nail art is a technique that’s ideal for nail art newbies and experts alike. Have you ever seen nail art that just looked too perfect to be true? Chances are it was created with a stamp.
The technique for stamping nail art starts with a metal plate that has patterns engraved into it. All you have to do is paint nail polish on the pattern, scrape away the excess and transfer the pattern using a rubber stamp. It’s a tricky concept to get your head around but there’s a quick tutorial video below which should shed some light on the technique.
At the moment, my favorite brand for stamping plates is MoYou London. Their range of patterns and styles grows every week and the designs they offer are incredibly beautiful. The design used in this manicure is from their Princess Collection 09 Plate.
For this nail art, I used a base of Essie Navigate Her. I stamped on the design from MoYou Plate Princess 09 using a matte white nail polish from Born Pretty Store. This polish is very pigmented which makes it ideal for stamping. On the accent finger I added a top coat of gold glitter. To seal in my nail art and give it that amazing shine, I used a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
