Tim Quinn, celebrity face designer for Giorgio Armani Makeup, made up the second lady for the inaugural festivities. “I wanted Dr. Biden to look fresh, understated and elegant,” he says.

Quinn started by mixing Biden’s personal favorite Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation with Fluid Sheer #7 (a pale shimmering rose tint) to warm up her fair complexion. He then topped off the foundation with a dab of Fluid Sheer #10 (a warm gold tint) for added radiance.

He applied Maestro Eraser Dark Circle Concealer to her under-eyes to conceal and brighten. To create a standout (yet appropriate for daytime) eye look, he used Eyes to Kill Palette #8 (a combination of soft gray shadows), Eyes to Kill Waterproof Eyeliner (“crucial for an emotional day”) and Eyes to Kill Mascara. To complete the look, he swiped on Rouge D’Armani lipstick in #512 (a mauve-pink), layered with Gloss D’Armani Lacquer #513 Roseperla for a glossy finish. All products available at giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com.
