The Toronto Star reports a recent study finds postmenopausal breast-cancer patients who don’t get enough sleep—six hours or less a night—are at risk for more-aggressive tumors.
“We keep saying that it’s important to go to the gym and eat right, but we also need to rest,” lead researcher Dr. Cheryl Thompson tells the newspaper. “As a society, I think we simply need to value a good night’s sleep.”
