If you don’t think we all get better with age,  you haven’t checked out Helen Mirren lately. Or Julianne Moore. Or Ellen DeGeneres.

For many, the key to finding happiness and confidence when it comes to appearance requires a few decades of living under their Hermès belt. In fact, one recent U.K. survey found that most women say they didn’t hit their prime until age 35, London’s Daily Mail reports.

The survey, conducted by U.K. clothing company CC, shows one out of three women surveyed says she felt more comfortable with her looks as she aged, three out of four report having better style as they grew older and one out of 20 says it took until age 56 to hit her prime, according to the newspaper.

We like to think, like Mirren, Moore and DeGeneres, that once we hit our prime, we manage to stay there.
