Employee Uniforms Get Designer Makeovers

Prabal Gurung, Sophie Theallet among those creating high-end work styles.

In today’s ultracompetitive world of fashion design, getting your looks out there is key—even if they’re in the form of a work uniform.

And we’re pretty sure the employees who get to wear styles from hot designers such as Prabal Gurung and Sophie Theallet are quite happy about it too.

CNN reports that, come April, Sephora workers in North America will sport exclusive Gurung-designed uniforms—a black shift dress with a red strip or a fitted black pantsuit for women and black separates with red details for men.

Meanwhile, female staffers at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar in New York City are outfitted in Theallet-designed spill-proof silk drape dresses, according to the network.

Our only question for those beauty experts and cocktail waitresses: Can we buy what they're wearing?
