Planning the perfect romantic night in? You’ll need a little mood lighting, of course. Definitely something chocolatey. Soft music in the background. Oh, and a bottle of Dr. Ruth wine.
The New York Post reports Dr. Ruth Westheimer’s new wine, Vin d’Amour, is hitting stores in July, with a low alcohol content of 6 percent, about half that of regular wine.
“I’m always saying couples should drink to relax, but not too much,” Dr. Ruth, who turns 84 next week, tells the newspaper. “If [the woman] drinks too much, she falls asleep, and if [the man] drinks too much, he can’t perform. It’s the same problem for gay couples . . . My idea is that just the right amount [of alcohol] will awaken your senses and arouse you.”
