If you haven't already, add Madame Tussauds Wax Museums to your list of places to go. Seriously, this place is incredible. With over 20 museums worldwide, Madame Tussauds specializes in creating creepily realistic wax figures of historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and even famous murderers (P.S. Hitler has a wax figure, too. It kept getting vandalized, so the museum was forced to remove it). There are museums located in Hollywood, Nashville, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., each with their own unique collection of celebrity wax sculptures. We gathered some of the most unbelievable wax figures from Madame Tussauds. See if you can tell the celeb apart from their wax doppelganger.
Honestly, the world could use two of this cutie. Austin Mahone's wax sculpture was made in August of 2015, and since then, he has enjoyed playing pranks on fans using the model. He once dressed up as a Madame Tussauds worker and interacted with his fans as they gushed over his wax figure. Mahomies, beware.
Miley is a popular celeb at Madame Tussauds, with a total of five tongue-wagging wax figures in their collection. Well, only three of them are blonde Miley. The other two are young brunette Miley.
Pharrell's wax figure was styled after one of his most signature looks from the 2014 Grammys, and at first glance, we honestly couldn't tell which was real and which was fake. On seeing his sculpture for the first time, Pharrell said, "I'm excited and scared at the same time, if that makes any sense."
Queen Elizabeth II
Okay, this one absolutely blows our minds. This is a flawless representation of the Queen, and we can't stop looking at it. There are no words for this masterpiece other than "Wow."
This sculpture, made in October 2015, is one of the first to have an interactive component. Fans can snap selfies with Jenna Marbles through the phone her wax figurine is holding, and then get the photos printed at the museum. On her YouTube channel, Jenna told viewers they'd finally be able to "grope da butt" all they wanted.
So we all know One Direction fans can get pretty crazy... But get this: Madame Tussauds has hired "tissue attendants" to monitor the One Direction sculptures. That's right—so many girls were crying that tissues needed to be brought in. No judgment here.
It must have been difficult for Madame Tussauds sculptors to make a wax figure so perfect, but they nailed it. And not just once, either. Taylor has had several celebrity wax sculptures made, and they all look #flawless.
At his unveiling, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon said, "I guess I'll have to stop with the plastic surgery for at least a few years so these figures stay relevant." Madame Tussauds didn't make one, they didn't make two... They made five Jimmy Fallon wax sculptures. Because the world needed 5 more Jimmy Fallons, obvi.
