Just a few days shy of my 53rd birthday, entering this contest is one of the most out-of-the-box things I have EVER done.  I made a life changing decision 267 days ago to get sober.  It’s been the journey of a lifetime, and I feel so wonderful that I want to shout it from the rooftop.  Coupled with my resolution for 2010 to work on my extraordinarily low self esteem, this contest seems like the perfect way to scream out that I am a phenomenal woman… fearfully and wonderfully made.  Thanks to my incredible support team of friends – without them I would not BE.
