How to Wear Color Blocking

Coverage is key Anything slinky or strappy would youth-anize this trend. The top, skirt and slingback are all substantial in style.

Masculine but still sexy Forget about flowy. To keep blocking tony, stick to defined shapes, such as the rectangular bag, and tightly knit fabrics with structural integrity, as in the top and skirt (see the look from Sophie Theallet's Spring 2012 show, left).

Go to the dark side A palette of midnight blue anchored by black is office-serious. Whatever your color choices, keep them in a single family to avoid a rainbow effect.

The bolder, the better For blocking to look good, dramatic color delineation is key, in both clothes and accessories.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to buy the colorblock ponte knit colorblock top by cable and gauge featured in the article. It is NOT on their website. when I do a search for this, no matter what i put in, or how i word it, nothing comes up. why must this be so difficult? do they not want the business?
