Name Emily Cholakian
Location Los Angeles
Occupation Fashion Blogger and Brand Manager

What's your fashion philosophy?
Wear whatever makes you happy.

Favorite outfit ever?
That would have to be my full vintage skirt with a black and white turtleneck crop top. It exemplifies my fashion mantra: feminine, sexy, and classic.

What made you start your blog?
It was an assignment for a journalism class. I kept it going after the semester was over because I really fell in love with all aspects of it.

Who inspires you?
I am obsessed with Blair Eadie and Taylor Tomasi Hill, but my obsessions vary from season to season and month to month.

Best advice you've received?
Draw a line and live above it.

When you're not shopping, what are you doing?
I'm reading a book, exploring LA, or spending time with my family and friends.

What's your favorite thing about blogging?
It's a documentation of my life, it's a lot of hard work but what keeps me going is knowing one day when I am old and gray, I will look back at this website and be proud of who I am and how far I've come.

What's in your handbag?
A year's worth of receipts, my wallet, make-up bag, deodorant, and my phone charger because my phone always dies by noon.

Dream job?
This is always a tough one for me. I think I'd like to be a fashion powerhouse, but if a Refinery 29 editorial position happens to come along, I wouldn't say no.

Describe your happy place.
A book, Starbucks, French fries, my boyfriend, a blanket in the park.

What is something that people don't know about you?
If I listen to a song once I will know it by heart for the rest of my life.

What's your biggest accomplishment?
Being a student was one of my favorite times in my life. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Marketing.

Favorite place to travel?
Italy. I studied abroad for a semester, and Italy is my second home. The culture and history was something I had never experienced before living in LA.

Favorite brand? Favorite store? Favorite place to shop?
I don't really have favorites. I wear a lot of vintage but my favorite stores would be Zara and Asos--great affordable fashion that looks like a million bucks!

Best advice when shopping for your body type?
It's time to accept your body type and know that not everything looks good on everyone.

What are your wardrobe staples?
A great vintage skirt, a leather jacket, a white blouse, wide-leg trousers, black pumps and a classic shoulder bag.

What's your dream fashion purchase?
Oh gosh, what isn't my dream fashion purchase? I really want a Reed Krakoff bag or some YSL heels.

What's your to-go outfit?
Full midi skirt, tank top, and classic pumps.

Do you sell your clothes? If so, where can our readers shop your closet?
Yes, on the Poshmark App!

What's the biggest challenge you face as a style blogger?
I think the biggest challenge is not comparing yourself to others in the field. It is pretty competitive out there, but you have to stay true to yourself and work hard. The rest will follow.

What's the most rewarding thing about your blog?
It's about more than fashion. It's about sharing your life and inspiring people by being yourself.

Favorite Color?
Red. I like the way it looks with my complexion and it definitely says a lot about my crazy character.
