With age comes wisdom—and heightened sex appeal.

This week, 68-year-old actress Charlotte Rampling was named the new "face" of NARS Cosmetics. Rampling's most recent acting gig was in the final season of Dexter, but NARS founder François Nars said he has been a fan of the gorgeous English actress for decades and describes Rampling as “an endless, watchable mystery.” Meanwhile, Marc Jacobs also just announced Jessica Lange as the "face" of his eponymous cosmetics line and asked the 64-year-old American Horror Story actress to voice the spoken-word soundtrack for his fall 2014 runway show.

Both actresses join the ranks of other mature muses: Stylist and skincare guru Linda Rodin, 65, stars in the latest lookbook for The Row; French actress Catherine Deneuve, 70, currently appears in Louis Vuitton’s spring ad campaigns; model Lauren Hutton, 70, recently channeled her all-American appeal for a Lucky Brand ad campaign; and, in 2012, 90-something Iris Apfel, the New York City style maven, collaborated on and was in an ad for a collection with MAC Cosmetics.
