I, too, am taking Estroven. I take the Energy formula in the morning and Extra Strength in the evening and haven’t had a hot flash in months. I also do yoga three mornings each week.

When I entered menopause, I had no health insurance or presceiption drug coverage, so I couldn’t afford HRT therapy. I used a Chinese herb called Dong Quai in capsule form. I had none of the terrible hot flashes that my friends experienced, so I would highly recommend this. Claire

I have blankets on me and a fan blowing in my face every nite when i go to bed. i am freezing me husband out. i am trying not to take anything for my hot flashes, just dress in layers and take a fan whereever i go. LOL I dont have a mom who went thur memopause and every woman i talk to has a lot complaints, so i feel lucky, not to have anything else. although my family will dispute that!!

i started taking estroven over the counter, it has help my hot flashes and some of my mood swings. now i dont know if it is good for every one, but my dr.feels there is no reason i cannot take it, i suggues it may be good for you but check with your dr.first.

Hi, Depression could also be caused by hormonal imbalance. Have you tried consulting an expert Chiropractor? Do that if its bothering you. I can recommend you to Dr. Maegan Davis. she has an experience of over 25 years in this feild and offers natural and absolutely affordable HRT. Do let me know if it helped. I hold a cold drink can or glass of ice water on my wrists or elbows. Standing in front of the open freezer helps too, but then my dh yells about the electric bill
