TICKET PURCHASE

Q.  How can I purchase a ticket for the event?
A. Go to www.more.com/gno and click the “Purchase Tickets” link.

Q. When will ticket purchase be available?
A. Online purchase will begin on Friday, January 18, 2013. The final time and day for ticket purchase will be 5:00 pm EST on Friday, March 15, 2013.

Q. How much does it cost to attend?
A. The Single Ticket rate is $85.

Q. Are there special Group Rates?
A. Yes! If you register yourself and one or more additional people, the ticket rate is $75 per person.

Q. Will I receive confirmation of my ticket purchase?
A. Yes, upon completing your successful purchase, you will be sent an automatic email confirmation from Eventbrite to the email address you provided. You will also have the option of printing out your admission ticket. Your email confirmation or admission ticket will be required for entry to the event along with a photo ID.

Q. Will guest(s) that I purchased a ticket for receive an email confirmation?
A. Each will receive an individual email confirmation and the option to print their admission ticket PROVIDED that you specified their names and email addresses when prompted during the ticket purchase process. If you DID NOT provide a name or email address other than your own during the ticket purchase process, please be sure to forward a copy of your email confirmation and admission ticket to your guest(s) and advise that they will be required to bring a copy to the event check-in desk for admission.

Q. What if I don’t receive my email confirmation?
A. Email confirmations are automatically sent out to the email address you provide during the registration process. Please be sure to check your SPAM account if you do not receive your confirmation in your regular in-box.

Q. Can I cancel my registration once I’ve paid?
A. No.  All ticket purchases are final.

Q. Will I be able to purchase a ticket on-site on March 20, 2013?
A. No, we will not be selling any tickets at the door.

 

THE EVENING’S ACTIVITIES

Q. What is included in the evening’s activities?
A. Attendees can pose for a profile photo with a professional photographer, chat with stylish insiders including MORE editors, get a mini massage, nail polish change or express makeover, enjoy refreshments, shop for select merchandise, receive a fabulous gift bag, and take away expert advice on dating, relationships, social media and more.

Q. Who are some of the featured guests and experts?
A. All attendees will have the opportunity to interact with our featured guests and sponsors. MORE Fashion Director Jonny Lichtenstein will be on hand to provide fashion advice from the Nic + Zoe display area, Style Guru Jacqui Stafford will offer fashion tips and sign copies of her latest book, The Wow Factor andLaurie Davis, author of Love @ First Click: The Ultimate Guide to Online Dating, will provide relationship and dating advice on behalf ofHow About We. Additionally, social media tips will be available from onsite experts and other guests will be added as confirmed.

Q. Will there be any formal presentations?
A. No, activities are planned to be casual and interactive.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Q. What time should I plan to arrive?
A. The doors will open at 6:00pm.

Q. What if I’m late? 
A. No problem.  We’ll be glad to welcome you upon arrival.

Q. What time will the event end?
The evening’s activities will end at 8:30pm.

Q. How many people do you expect at the event?
A. We plan for full attendance of 225 guests.

Q. What should I wear to the event?
A. There is no specific dress code. We recommend that you dress comfortably and appropriately for an evening cocktail reception.

Q. What should I bring with me to the event?
A. Do be sure to bring your registration email confirmation and/or admission ticket and a photo ID for attendee check-in.

Q. Are cameras allowed?
A. Yes, BUT photography, audio and video recording will NOT be permitted during the event.  Attendees will be required to check any video recording equipment upon arrival.

Q. Will there be a coat/bag check?
A. Yes.  The coat/bag check will be located near the check-in desk.

Q. Will the event be handicap accessible?
A. Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible.

Q. Is there an age restriction on attendees?
A. Yes. You must be 21 years or older to attend the event.

Q. Can I bring my baby/child or pet with me to the event?
A. Babies and children under 21 are not permitted at the event.  Pets are not permitted at the event (with the exception of service animals).

Q. Can men attend?
A. Yes.

Q. Will food be served?
A. Drinks and light bites will be available.

A. The photo studio is located at 1314 West Randolph Street, West Loop. There are three convenient ways to get to the venue

Q. Is there accommodation for parking nearby?
A. Yes, there is abundant free, on-street parking on Randolph Street and several pay parking garages in the area. Click here for a list of garages.

Q. Are there hotels nearby?
A. Yes, there are several hotels in the vicinity. Click here for a list of local hotels. There are also a multitude of hotels in downtown Chicago, just a short cab ride away.

Q. Will there be Girls Night Out events in other cities?
A. We anticipate we will be planning additional events. Check back soon for more details.

Q. If I am or I represent a potential sponsor for the Girls Night Out event, whom should I contact?
A. Please email your name, company name, and phone number along with your request for information to MoreGNO@meredith.com. Someone will get back to you in a timely fashion to explain opportunities and fees.

Q. I am a member of the press and would like to cover the event. Are complimentary passes available to attend?
A. We have a limited number of press passes to distribute. Please submit your name, phone and media affiliation to MoreGNO@meredith.com. Someone from our PR Department will get back to you as we get closer to the event.
