The amount of water you need for good health varies. Your weight, your height, your food intake, and depending partly on your activity level warrants the amount you should have on a daily basis. On average, you should drink a minimum of eight to ten cups of water every day if you’re not active. If you’re exercising, you may need more to replace the fluids lost during exercise.
You can easily tell if you’re not getting enough water by noting the following signs:
- Loss of appetite
- Flushed skin
