Was it hard? For some of us, it was a challenge like nothing we’d ever endured.

We’re off!

We pushed ourselves physically and mentally…

The mud begins

up 10-foot cement walls, through muddy trenches…

Obstacles start

over and under fallen logs…

Challenges arise

...and dragged our tired bodies under camouflage netting.

The finish line!

Being able to cross that finish line, with one of our teammates on a stretcher, was a thrill. Half of us wanted to run back on the course to do it all over again. Some, like me, were a little dumbstruck at what we achieved. All of us are planning to do it again next year, and finish even stronger.
