The Perfect Amount of Sleep

To keep your heart ticking, clock the right number of hours of sleep a night, say University of Warwick scientists. In a recent study of more than 470,000 participants, they found that people who sleep less than six hours per night and experience disturbed sleep have a 48 percent greater chance of developing or dying from heart disease and a 15 percent greater chance of developing or dying of a stroke. Getting more than nine hours per night was also associated with a 38 percent greater risk of heart disease and a 65 percent increased risk of stroke. "Chronic short sleep produces hormones and chemicals in the body which increase the risk of developing heart disease and strokes, and other conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol, diabetes and obesity,” says study author Michelle Miller, PhD. Most people need between six and eight hours of sleep a night to protect their health, say researchers.

if you are having difficulty sleeping I would like to let suffers know about new fabric called goodnighties that I found on-line. (p.j's) it has helped cure my chronic exhaustion. I was a hormonal wreck with aches and pains and nightsweats and now I am sleeping straight through the has been like a miracle for me!
