melody, desiree, and nameless one already said it all. but sometimes i cant resist, if its a direct comment at a common aquaintance's mothering "skills", to...redirect? example: "her daughter was wearing crocs in below freezing weather!"
reply: "i saw that. i have always admired her ability to pick battles. i strive to be that relaxed as a mom."

Run, run away as fast as you can!! Lol, mostly just tune them out and move away as quickly and politely as possible. I have just SO much more fun things to do!!

When dealing with people like this - all you have to do is smile, then go about your business knowing they have so much growing up to do. Who really cares what they say - certainly not me and why should you?
