James Bond Villains We’d Like To See

The world’s most successful spy series celebrates its 50th anniversary with the November 9 release of movie #23, Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig as 007 and Javier Bardem as the latest in a too-long line of macho villains. Sure, in 1963’s From Russia with Love, Colonel Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) tackled Bond with her poison-tipped shoe, but since then, the series’ bad girls have been few and secondary. More got to wondering why, in the age of such kick-ass stars as Angelina Jolie and Uma Thurman, women don’t get more shots at playing Bond arch-villains. Here, some suggestions.
