Joan on Liz

Elizabeth Taylor never let Joan Rivers's stand-up stand in the way of their friendship. “She came to my house for dinner, and we both worked so hard for Amfar,” Rivers says of the icon she frequently ribbed onstage. “The last time I saw her, she was in a wheelchair but wearing one of those big rocks around her neck. She wore those jewels until she died.” Here, Rivers, who stars in E!'s Fashion Police and with her daughter in WE's Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best (returning January 10), riffs on some of the Taylor treasures that will be auctioned at Christie's New York on December 13 and 14.
