Tonight’s top 10 list: How not to sound like a sexist jerk.

TheWrap reports Eddie Brill lost his job booking comedians for The Late Show with David Letterman after telling the New York Times, “There are a lot less female comics who are authentic. I see a lot of female comics who to please an audience will act like men.”

Brill attempted to defend himself but only seemed to dig himself in deeper, according to the website, eventually owning up to his remarks.

“It is time for me to accept the consequences of my printed words . . . and to learn from this,” TheWrap quotes him as saying.

Bummer to end up the punchline, huh, dude?

Thanks for sharing! It's interesting because I am always advising people to treat social discussion like a good dinner party---have fun and be yourself but always be respective of others and listen as much or more than you talk. :)
