Comment of the Week
This week's commenter reminds us that you don't have to be rail thin to be healthy and confident. We love her positive attitude:
"One of my biggest peeves with MORE is that it insists on only showing skinny models. [...] I am admittedly a 'big girl' (5'7" and over 230 lbs.) but I am STILL healthy and fit (according to my doctor)! In fact, I've not taken one sick day on my job in 7 years."I EXERCISE every single day no matter what. I sold my car last year and I now commute to work by bicycle.
"Despite all that exercise I am still not thin. At first I was upset about this, but now I've reconciled myself to the fact that I will more than likely never be thin again like in my 20s, but despite my size, I can be toned and healthy... and that is my primary goal."

I am a subscriber and big fan of your magzine. I look forward to each issue every month. There is so much information with every possible category that interests women and it is very valuable. However, I have one complaint: since I just turned 60 in January, I feel that the magazine does not address the issues of 60 and beyond but rather focuses more on the 40-50 range. I'd like to see more articles/information for us "seniors".

I've become a keen student of fashion even though the only one who sees me at work is my cat, Bart. I could easily wear my sweats as my morning commute is all of two minutes from the bedroom to my desk. But I realized that dressing makes a difference. Taking the time to notice fashion, in what looks stylish and fabulous on me, keeps engaged in the rapid flow of life. I see women who have given up and look like it. I'd rather dress for the life I'm designing- fresh, contemporary, exciting- because when I do I feel most like myself.

I saw the ad "the art of dressing" in the April issue. As much as I iiked the clothes, I was more impressed with the artwork. It never mentions the artists name or the studio it was shot in! I as wondering who the artist was...

Being able to express myself through my obsesion to have to write no matter whats going on in my life is what has always kept myself moving forward in my life. I am so pleased to be able to join this contest. My words express who I am.

I couldnt agree more with the comment of the week. I have said to my husband many times the fashion is the thing I like least about the magazine. I am a massage therapist and never wear office type clothes, and heels maybe once a year. Theres alot of us who dont work in offices. What about us?
